Brinkley Walser Stoner office manager, Karen Greene, today announced that paralegal Pat Hodges has retired after many years of service to the legal industry. Hodges joined Brinkley Walser Stoner in 2010, but had previously worked for the Smith Law Firm and R.B. Smith, Jr. for more than 30 years.

“Pat has been a tremendous asset to the firm,” says Greene. “She had only been with the firm for five years, but made a big difference with her positive attitude and enthusiasm for her work. Pat has a wealth of knowledge about administering estates. We’ll miss her and wish her well on her retirement.” Hodges worked most recently part-time as the firm’s estates paralegal, handling hundreds of estates. During her time at the Smith Law Firm, Pat was the Office Manager and a real estate paralegal. Her last day with the firm was April 22nd. The firm will host a reception in Pat’s honor later this month.

“I’ll certainly miss the great people I’ve worked with,” says Hodges. “I’ve had the pleasure of working with so many wonderful people through the years, including Irvin Sink, Wayne Michael, Rod and Phyllis Penry, Dan Timberlake, Doris Gamblin, Ryan McNeill, RB Smith and many others. I worked for RB at the Smith Law Firm for 34 years. He was a kind, considerate and caring person who always looked after us and helped in any way he could. He was a great boss. I found the same caring people here at Brinkley Walser Stoner.”
