Gary Bowers is an Associate Attorney with Brinkley Walser Stoner. He joined the team in 2015 as part of the Stoner Bowers merger. Bowers was born in Thomasville and attended Belmont Abbey College, where he majored in Political Science. He studied law at Oklahoma City University, earning his J.D. in 2005. Bowers worked summers during college at Stoner Bowers as a law clerk and paralegal, and was finally hired on with the firm as an Associate Attorney. Bowers’ primary practice areas include Residential and Commercial Real Estate Closings, Easements and Right-of-Ways, Landlord-Tenant, Contracts, Wills & Estates, Guardianships, Corporate, and Criminal Defense.
Bowers is a member of the American Bar Association and N. C. Bar Association, where he serves with the Real Property Section. He is also a volunteer baseball coach with Sheets Memorial High School in Lexington and with the Reeds Booster Club.
Bowers is married to Kristy Lohr Bowers and they have one son. Outside of work, Bowers enjoys spending time with his family and collecting baseball cards. He is a member of Paul’s Chapel in Lexington.
