I joined Brinkley Walser Stoner or Walser Brinkley, as it was called then, straight out of Law School in 1961 and I have practiced law with the firm ever since. I wanted to practice law in a smaller town because of all of the advantages of living there and raising your family there, but I also wanted to associate with attorneys who were highly qualified and possessed all of the skills and abilities of the best of any city lawyer who genuinely cared about their clients and in promoting their cause while exhibiting the finest qualities of professionalism. I also wanted a firm where everybody worked together as a team and put the client’s interest first, giving quality service at reasonable costs, and also a firm where the people involved gave back to the community by providing services to people who could not afford them promoting good and worthwhile civic and community projects and serving on the various boards and committees and other involvements of our community. I can truly say that I found such a firm with all of those qualities which continues today in the same philosophy. The firm had its beginning right here in Lexington in 1886 when Zeb B. Walser began the practice and we have continued his tradition and that of the firm by continuing to add new young attorneys who possess the same qualities that we deem important. Our commitment to our clients and the community is to be around for another 100 years and to provide the same service and dedication of the past and by staying up with the new technology and ever changing law to deliver to our clients the level of service that they are entitled to and desire in the manner which I would want to be treated with courtesy and respect.
“As the senior partner, and now Of Counsel, Charlie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the firm and that translates to a tremendous benefit for our clients. He is a true mentor to the attorneys in this firm as well as our staff. We feel privileged to be associated with and working for Charlie. Charlie sets high standards that we all strive to meet. He makes us understand what being a part of the law is truly about.” ~ Brinkley Walser Stoner Staff
