Attorneys Danielle De Angelis and Nicholas Presentato have combined their talents to focus their practice areas on issues related to family law, including separation, divorce, child custody, child support, termination of parental rights, guardianship, adoption, prenuptial agreements, and more.
Danielle joined the firm in 2022, bringing 20+ years of experience to the firm. She is a North Carolina State Bar Board Certified Family Law Specialist. This certification means that Danielle has met specific requirements set out by the NC State Bar Association, including a minimum number of practice area hours, passing specific tests relating to family law, and peer review by unbiased colleagues and by judges.
Danielle is a “Double Deacon,” being a graduate of the Wake Forest University School of Law (JD 2002) and a graduate of Wake Forest University, Magna Cum Laude, with Honors in English (BA 1998). Danielle has practiced Family Law in North Carolina since 2002, with a short stint in the County Attorney’s Office in Davidson County, North Carolina. Danielle also serves the community as a Board Member of The Workshop of Davidson County, Inc., which serves developmentally and intellectually disabled individuals in Davidson County by giving them a safe place to train, work and grow. Nick Presentato joined the team in 2024, bringing several years of family law experience to the firm. A Massachusetts native, Nick also earned his JD at the Wake Forest University School of Law (2017). Before joining BWS, Nick worked for two other firms in the Triad area. Learn more about Nick.
