Lexington, NC – Brinkley Walser Stoner, PLLC announced today that the firm has made its annual donation to the Empty Stocking Fund this holiday season. The firm has supported the Empty Stocking Fund for more than 25 years.

“The holidays can be a challenge for families that are struggling financially,” says Karen Greene, business manager at Brinkley Walser Stoner. “As a parent, you want your children to think of Christmas as a special time and not feel left out. Every year when we discuss causes to support, the Empty Stocking Fund is always on the list. We are happy to be able to support families in our community by aiding the Fund in its mission of helping these children and their families have a brighter Christmas.” The Empty Stocking Fund was founded in 1981 to help provide a brighter Christmas to needy area children and families. The Dispatch partners with the Salvation Army of Davidson County to manage the Fund. Anyone wishing to contribute to the fund may do so by mailing a check to The Dispatch, Empty Stocking Fund, P.O. Box 908, Lexington, NC 27293 or dropping the donation off at their office at 30 E. First Ave. between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on business days. Checks should be made out to the Empty Stocking Fund.
