Lexington, NC – Big Toy Day 2014 is an annual event benefiting Communities in Schools (CIS) of Lexington/Davidson County. Scheduled this year for August 23, the back-to-school event offers games and food and brings in “big toys” like fire trucks, boats, planes, tractors and more for kids and adults to get up close and personal. Brinkley Walser is a proud sponsor of Communities in Schools.
“If you haven’t been to Big Toy Day, you don’t know what you’re missing,” says Bradley Hunt, an attorney with Brinkley Walser and Communities in Schools Board member. “This is a great fund raiser for Communities in Schools of Lexington/Davidson County and supports their mission of creating a community of support for at-risk students, allowing them to succeed in school and life. We are proud to be a sponsor and hope everyone comes out to enjoy the day.” The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Davidson County Airport, 1673 Aviation Way, Lexington. Admission is free for children 10 and under and $5 for all others.
